2012 Roubaix Apex Comp

New purchase for me. I've been watching this bike for two years. Took the plunge and not unhappy at all. I have been riding for 2 years on the Spec Sequoia with a triplett. I'm an older rider (63) and have lost about 2.5 stone since riding 3 years ago seriously. I cannot believe the difference with the Roubaix. I've only ridden 40 mi because it's so cold and windy in upper desert but I now go out looking for hills to climb. I took one of my rides up a road where I could only get 15 mph max on a good day on the Sequoia. I rode the Roubaix up the same road at 18-20 AVS. Cannot believe the difference. Almost effortless. Worth every single penny, every word I read about Apex Comp vs. Shimano 105. So glad I went with the Apex.
